I like to give thank you gifts…and I like to have items on hand so that when the urge strikes to take someone “a little something” to let them know I am thinking of them I can. So this week when I was at the dollar store I stocked up on a few things.
Like little notebooks, cute pens, and mechanical pencils.
In fact, I found notebooks in packs of 4 and fun mechanical pencils in packs of 6 which makes these particularly thank you gifts really inexpensive! (Like 40 cents a piece…you can’t even buy a greeting card for that cheap!)
So I bought a dozen and paired each notebook with a mechanical pencil. (They don’t match perfectly but close enough to look like the coordinate.) And tied them together with ribbon pieces from my scrap bag.
Now I have 12 thank you gifts or just thinking of you gifts sitting on hand waiting until I need them.
And because they are so inexpensive and easy to assemble I can give them out as often as I want.
And I should…because…let’s face it. The world could use a lot more thank you’s and I’m thinking of yous.
