The Desert Oasis Quilt pattern is finally HERE! This is a quilt that we made to launch our very first fabric line Four Corners and has been one of my favorite quilts I’ve ever made. Mostly because I love black and white….and I love simple modern shapes. But mostly I love this quilt because it is made for even the most beginner quilter…..the instructions show how to do everything including bind your quilt!
Here is the full quilt so you can see it. The quilt is made out of large strips of fabric so it goes together quickly if you are a more experienced quilter or perfect if this happens to be your first adventure in the big wide world of quilting! (Which is a wonderful rabbit hole of awesomeness, just so you know ;).
Quilt Size–70″ by 70″
And because it is launching today…and you are reading this…..we want to give you a discount so you can get the pattern today if you want to! Click the button below to download The Desert Oasis Quilt and enter the code SEWFORFALL to get the pattern this weekend for $4.95. On Sunday night it will go back up to $7.95.
Below are the amounts for each of the fabrics in the quilt. That way you can start digging through your stash right now….and find the perfect pairings. And it’s a great size for a big enough quilt that you can snuggle in this fall—I love it because I can pull it up to my chin and my feet don’t hang out!
FABRIC REQUIREMENTS for The Desert Oasis Quilt
3 yards of Fabric A (White Solid in cover photo)
1¾ yard of Fabric B (Black Circles in cover photo)
¼ yard of Fabric C (Yellow Pluses in cover photo)
¾ yard of fabric for binding (Black Solid)
One last close up of the quilting for you. It has a lot of “white space” to show off some amazing quilting with it too. This one was quilted by Melissa of Sew Shabby Quilting who did some amazing custom work on it. Or you could even just keep it simple with some straight line quilting—-and it would look just as great!
I have a couple more in the works with some floral fabrics…and I think it will give it a whole new look. Can’t wait to show you soon!
Happy Quilting! ~Elizabeth
