As part of Skirting the Issue, we add a link-up party that you can enter your skirts and quilts to the mix. Mostly so that we can keep an accurate count of how many items were donated….but also because that is how we will be able to pick prizes from those that donated skirts. And one lucky person will be getting a brand new sewing machine!!!
Your link-up can be a link to your blog, to a photo sharing site, and now even your instagram account if that makes it easier. And thank you, thank you, thank you for taking time out of your summer to sew for someone in need. We so appreciate you.
I teach sewing in middle school and one of my students loved the idea of service through sewing. She made 66 skirts from donated materials and we will donate them to our local foster care office. Thank you for your beautiful idea and honest sweet posts. You are an inspiration to me.
