It’s the first Monday of the Month and that means that we are doing our Quilt Block of the Month Tutorial. And this month we are back to working with all half-square triangle blocks with The Windmill Quilt Block Tutorial.
The Windmill Quilt Block Tutorial
Materials:
2- 5″ dark grey squares
2- 5″ mustard squares
2- 5″ mint squares
4- 5″ coral squares
6- 5″ white squares
Directions:
Step 1: Make the following Half-Square Triangle Blocks. If you need a refresher course on making a Half-Square Triangle Block Tutorial…go HERE.
8- HST blocks with coral and white
4- HST blocks with blue and mustard
4- HST blocks with dark grey and white
Step 2: Trim each of your half-square triangle blocks to 4.5″ or 4.5″
Step 3: After your HST blocks are all done, lay The Windmill Quilt Block Tutorial out in the following map.
Step 4: Sew each of the blocks together in row #1. Nest seams is desired. Then repeat for each of the three remaining rows.
Step 5. Once each of your rows are complete, it is time to sew the rows together into the quilt block.

Did the July BOM come out on the 4th or is it postponed until next Monday?

Your directions for the June Windmill Block indicate that you only need 5 of the coral/white HST. You actually need 8 to make the block. Also, when will the July block be released?
