Because it’s the week before Easter I thought I would share a family favorite cooking craft project that we do every year—cookie nests from the best coconut macaroons ever. And what makes them even better? The Hershey’s Cadbury Mini Eggs on top of the cookie nests!
And these cookies are even gluten free so if you need a gluten free treat for some people for easter these are the perfect choice…..
Easy Coconut Macaroon Cookie Nests
1 (14 oz) package of sweetened coconut
1 (14 oz) can of sweetened condensed milk
1 teaspoon of vanilla
3 large egg whites
pinch of salt
Bake at 300 degrees for 25 minutes until the cookies are lightly golden brown. Allow the cookies to cool, then fill the “nests” up with mini eggs and you are ready to eat!
