Today we are excited to share with you a sewing space that Elizabeth and I are super jealous of!!! From a blogging friend that one day we would love to meet in person:
Christopher from The Tattooed Quilter
When I first started The Tattooed Quilter, I was sewing in the living room of my
teeny tiny New York City apartment. My fabric was stored in boxes, bins, and
drawers in my bedroom and after each sewing session, I would have to put
everything away. Dreaming of stretching out in my own studio space, Liesl
Gibson of Oliver and S mentioned they were moving to Spain for a year. I
jumped at the chance to sublease her amazing and quite spacious Brooklyn
studio. A few weeks later and a couple of Uber trips, I moved in. #solucky
One of my favorite corners of the room is at the end of the giant worktable. I do
most of my planning, cutting, and trimming at this spot. I keep all of my favorite
things here, including this hand-embroidered pincushion made by my friend
Nydia Kehnle.
Another favorite corner of mine is where I sew. Facing the mid-town view of the
city, it’s calming and inspirational at the same time. And yes, I know what you’re
thinking; it’s always this neat! I keep my current reads, notions, and the adorable
pincushion from my other #quiltsquad friend Nicole Daksiewicz.
Not sure what I’ll do when my sublease is up.

I’ve still never seen where you gave away the Ikea gift certificate. Why don’t you answer any of the posts?
