These vintage pajamas have been on my sewing list to make for a couple of months. I have a boy that loves his loungewear…and by now his mom-made lounge pants have become capris, so I knew that it was time to make some new ones.
I used this vintage pattern from my stash. I don’t have many boy patterns so I love when I have one in his size right now. I have done quite a few posts in the past on sewing with Vintage patterns that you can find below. Just click on the image.
I think it’s because I learned to sew with vintage patterns, but with rare exceptions I love the fit. Because if a chest measurement says it will fit—it does…and I love that.
The cozy flannel was on the wall at Jo-Ann fabrics and I even found some shiny black buttons in my vintage box to add to the shirt front. I do love those little buses….they are so cute.
And one more of this big five year old boy….he’s such a light to me. He’s funny, he’s smart and he has been my little sidekick for the last five years. And watching him grow up tugs at my heart strings.
