I am usually about simple things for Valentine’s Day around here, but the other day we spotted these red gloves in one of the dollar bins and I thought they would be a fun little something for a Valentine treat. And since the weather is still so cold here in February, gloves will still be worn a lot in the month of February!
If you would like to make some too, they are simple and fast for an afternoon project….here’s what you do.
DIY Heart Valentine Gloves Materials:
*Pair of gloves (I found these at the Dollar Spot)
*White Felt
*Fabric Glue
*Red Embroidery Floss
*Hand Sewing Needle
*Fabric Scissors
Step 1: Cut out a heart shape out of the white felt. Cut the heart in half. Put a dab of fabric glue in the middle of the half of the heart to hold it in place while you are hand-stitching.
Step 2: Using your red embroidery floss, stitch around the outside of the heart shape. Step 3: Tie the last knot on the inside of the gloves and enjoy! And here is the free printableI made if you would like to use them for Valentine Gifts! It prints on an 8.5 x 11″ cardstock. To save it, right click and then save or print.
Have a very special HEART day 😉
