Over the past six months we have worked really hard at carving out individual spaces for each of our children here at the house. We have been feeling like they have each needed a spot to call their own…where they could be alone to study, read, draw, glue, write, paint, etc. One of the things that we have done to facilitate this is to create a room where each child has a wall to decorate as they wish and at which they have a desk stocked with items of their choice…scissors, paper, pencils, markers, calculators, stickers, pom poms, etc…so that they have everything they need at their fingertips.
The room (which we will share all the details of very soon) has been such a fantastic place for our family. Our children, and myself, spend time in there every day…and it is terrific. But sometimes it can get loud…especially with a singer, a non stop talker and a crazy loud gum chewer so recently we’ve added one more component to this room….a pair of Monster N-Tune headphones.
Simon is especially fond of them. When the girls get to chatty or their songs are “making it too hard to think” he can just slide on his head phones and concentrate again on what he is working on.
Although…he doesn’t just use them for serenity. 🙂
He loves to wear them and jam to his own music….or listen to books….and either way his facial expressions are always entertaining…unless of course he slips away before bedtime to play a quick game or two.
And then it’s nothing but seriously business.
This is not our first pair of Monster headphones but I think they are my favorite. This pair is from Monster’s N-Tune Core Collection which are I swear are built just for kids…they are super durable and can survive being twisted, dropped, or sat on. (Trust me….we know.) But they still have terrific sound and help to block out surrounding noise….I may or may not have been known to use them myself….

PS: This post is a sponsored review but all of the opinions are my own. I really am a Monster fan…and use my Monster speakers (that live in my kitchen) almost ever day. I’ve been nothing but happy with all of my Monster products which is why I was all about partnering with them today.
