This month we are the guest designers at The Sew What Club with our good friend Kelly of Sewing in No Man’s Land. And this month one of the children’s patterns is a dress that both liZ and I have been making for literally years. (For real, THIS dress, THIS dress and THIS dress were all made from this pattern we drafted years ago, and I could have put 5 more tags in…we LOVE to sew this dress.)
The Sew What Club patterns can be purchased on a yearly or monthly basis and are available in children’s and women’s patterns. And each month there is a new designer who does a guest pattern that is available for that month. The dress itself is based off a vintage pattern so the smaller sizes are “vintage short” which is so cute on little girls. The older girls sizes are made just at knee-length but we do show you in the pattern how to lengthen the dress to make a knee length. It is a super fast sew with no zippers and no buttonholes and a dress that you will sew over and over.
I sewed up the size 12 for Hannie (one size bigger) because this girls is growing like a weed. I’ve made this dress short as a tunic with leggings for school and the peter pan collar is great for a dressed-up dress.

You ladies are so amazing! How you manage to do all you do and so beautifully is a mystery to me. Hannah looks absolutely gorgeous and I am NUTS about this darling pattern. Thank you so very much for sharing your talents especially during this crazy time of year!

I love this little Madeline dress for my Madeline-obsessed two year old. I clicked your link for the PDF pattern but it took me to a failed site. How I can find this darling pattern?

Where can I find the pattern for this dress? The PDF link doesn’t work and I can’t find the actual pattern on the Sew What Club site.
