Today, 9-23-15, I opened my email from MSQC and was highly impressed by your tutorial on the knit maxi skirt. I have been collecting a few knit fabrics over the years because of their beautiful prints, but never new what to do with them, until now. Thank you for showing me the way,

Thanks so much. My daughter and daughter in law will love these for Christmas.
Excellent and detailed knit skirt tutorial. Question? What thread settings are used on your serger for the knit skirt? Also, if I wanted to make a cotton skirt- would I use the same settings as the knit skirt? Thank you!!!!

Thank you very much for the free knit skirt tutorial. I just downloaded and printed it. It is just what I was looking for to use some great knit fabrics that have been in my stash for quite a while. Many thanks, and God bless you.

The pattern pice says to put both pieces on the fold, but the cutting directions and layout diagram don’t show that. Do I print the pattern twice and tape the two sides together?
Thanks,
Sheryl

I made this skirt and it is indeed simple. However it is kind of small so be sure to measure before you cut. Don’t just go by size like I did. I ended up making two skirts and just giving the first one to my daughter. It looked lovely on her. I just made another one after I measured for accurate size
