Today we are joining Riley Blake Designs for their Back to School Tour….and we are also getting to debut our knit fabric line and our NEW MAXI skirt which we are so very excited about. You should have seen liZ and I when we got to see the fabric in real life for the first time, we both couldn’t stop petting it.
The maxi skirt pattern will debut here in a couple of weeks (and some of you may even be getting it for free–true story!) both in PDF form and in paper patterns. They are at the printers as we speak and will let you know as soon as they arrive.
The maxi skirt will come in women’s sizes XS-XXL and has a fun exposed elastic waistband that makes the skirt a cinch to sew up and we love the longer length. I think both liZ and I are down to 20 minutes a skirt after making so many.
It almost feels like you are wearing pajamas but you will look amazing 😉
The Four Corners Knit Fabrics will be available at your local quilt shop starting in September so look for those starting to arrive. And the knit is buttery and awesome—you will love making things out of it!
AND….
If you are local we will be teaching you how not to fear knits and sew up this maxi skirt at two local Quilt Shops in September. You will leave with a great fitting maxi skirt and the paper pattern to make more!!! (And some fun things and prizes along the way.)
September 12th at My Girlfriend’s Quilt Shoppe in Logan Utah…..more details in their shop.
September 26th at The Provo Cotton Shop.…more details at their store.

P.S. We are so thankful to Riley Blake Designs for giving us this opportunity to collaborate on a fabric line. It’s one of those things in life that we always hoped would happen but didn’t know if it ever would—and we are so grateful for the opportunity. I am sure you will be hearing a lot more about the line in the next couple of weeks–but we also promise you some goodies and some great giveaways with it. We are so very thankful for all of you too!
P.P.S Be sure to head over to Riley Blake Designs to see all the Back to School Tour Projects! They are some awesome ones there…

This pattern might be the inspiration I need to sew garments. It’s beautiful fabric, too.
