I love quilting books…a lot. I probably have at least two dozen of them on my bookshelf. They are so fun and there is always something new to learn…a new trick, technique, or block. So when Michelle Muska asked if we would like to check out her new quilt book “Quilting the new classics” of course I said yes!
Her book is all about giving a more modern vibe to traditional quilts. So, she gathered quilters from all over to remake traditional quilt blocks and the results are so much fun!
The illustrated instructions are easy to read and I love the photos of the traditional quilts taken from museums around the country.
There are 20 quilt projects in the book and they are all so much fun! Soooo…if you are a quilter….you may just need to add this book to your collection!
