Today is the first Monday of the month which means that it is Quilt Block of the month day!
And this month we are featuring the hourglass quilt block.
It is one of those quilt blocks that are simple to make but has really striking results. It’s actually one of my go to quilt blocks and today I put together a short video that will walk you through step by step how to make these great blocks.

Thanks for this video! It looks pretty simple, but the shape will set your quilt apart. I’ll have to give this a try, when I get some time to sew a full quilt.
