LiZ and I are back from Quilt Market, but today we are joining Riley Blake Designs Quilt Market tour to tell about some of the things we made and showcased at Market with our new fabric line that will be in stores this August. And with the release of the fabric line we have some patterns coming out with it!
The first thing that we knew we wanted to make were our favorite dresses—the Basic Bodice dress on the left and the Basic Shift dress on the right. Both of these patterns will release on paper in August with the fabric line.
And we also have some quilt patterns….the first is the Four Corners Quilt that is a series of pluses that we think turned out pretty fantastic.
The second quilt pattern I did and we are calling the Desert Oasis Quilt. Melissa did custom quilting on this one…and I love, love, love it! She quilted it in grey so the quilting really stands out with the simple designs that would look great in so many fabrics!
And the third quilt is called the Continental Divide Quilt and liZ did this pattern. I love the vertical stripes in it and the crackle quilting is one of my favorite patterns!
And last but not least we are releasing a teepee pattern for a play house! We made the first prototype out of some amazing 70’s fabric and pool noodles in liZ’s basement and it was a fun afternoon…but we got something that we love and so do our kids. They have been waiting for it to come home after market to be able to finally set it up and play in it. The paper pattern for the teepee will also release in August as well.

Beautiful color combo! I have been wanting a black, yellow, grey and white quilt for my bedroom. I will be keeping my eyes on the lookout.
