Do you ever have those months where you feel like you are spinning your wheels? And you have nothing to show for it?
Well, that’s me this month.
I have so many works in progress that it’s not funny. And I feel like if I write them down I will get better about getting them accomplished. Most of these things are already cut out, I just need to sit down and actually sew them 😉
So, here’s my sewing list for Spring (to sew before school gets out):
*A White Gauzy Summer Dress (cut out)
*New Curtains for my bedroom
*Bind the two quilts that are waiting to be bound
*Finish the linen flying geese quilt (almost done)
*Floral Dress for Me (I have the fabric!)
*Denim Pencil Skirt for Hannie (cut out)
*Pom Pom Skirt (cut out)
*Table Runner for Dining Room (cut out)
Now that I am writing them down, it doesn’t feel like the entire one half of my cutting table piled high with stuff. But, I think I can do it…..I’ll keep you updated on progress and hopefully you will see a lot of these things in posts soon!
What does your to-do list look like? Is it a mile-long like mine?

I have so much stuff pulled out all over my sewing room that my goal is to put it all back away where it belongs so I can get in a sew the half cut out Easter dresses. And while I am at the cleaning up I am trying to destash the stash. I need to get rid of some fabric so I can fit it all in. But that is so sad, I don’t want to get rid of anything because you know, someday I might use it!

A beautiful quilt for my friend for a June birthday that needs to be quilted and bound, a First Communion dress for my granddaughter for May that is almost done, and a purse for her, another summer quilt for myself, and replace pockets in a pair of men’s jeans. That last one is harder than I thought it would be.

I never thought of writing it is a list! That is a great idea. Makes it more manageable.
I only have 3 things on my table right now. Hopefully will stitch them up tomorrow!
