So a few weeks ago I got a Minc. I had heard about these new machines that do foil transfers and I really wanted to try it out….
But I wasn’t sure how complicated it would be. I’m not super techy and I don’t like things that are a process so I wasn’t sure if I would really like the Minc or not. However, I was way more than pleasantly surprised than when in less than 5 minutes after taking the machine out of the box I had already finished my first banner piece!
(For real…it took longer to take it out of the box than it did to read the instructions, set it up, and make my first piece!)
All you need to run the machine is to plug it in, choose a setting, place your item to be foiled into a sleeve with the foil and send it through! The foil adheres to what ever has been printed on an ink jet printer but not anything else! So when your item comes out the other side you just lift off your foiled sheet and BAM! You have something cute and shiny!!!
For my first project I actually used some of Minc’s premade banner pieces….and I love them! They were a breeze to make and so stinking cute!
When I finished making them I glued the banner pieces some lace and was ready to go!
I love this machine and I’m sure you are going to see lots more projects with it in the coming months!

I really do love the machine….it’s little, fun, and easy to use. If you want to check into one they are at JoAnn and Hobby Lobby with all the different colored foils and accessories. I’m kind of addicted. Also, last week I was at a conference and Heidi Swapp was there demonstrating the Minc (which I was already in love with) and while I was there I was given this sign made with the Minc! (They made one for everyone at the conference!) So nice! I’m going to hang it up in my craft room…and want to make some for my girls!
