I had grand plans for January—the holidays would be over, the kids would be back in school, and I would be back to sewing.ย And as much as I wanted my dream to be a reality…it seems like there is more going on behind the scenes in January than ever!ย (Although liZ and I did finish a couple of big projects over the last three weeks that we will tell you about soon ๐ )
So let’s do an edition of “what’s on your sewing table?”
Mine…it’s a mess.ย It hasย a pattern cut out and ready to sew up with some tiny black swiss dot shirting and black piping that I am excited about.
A red and white huge-gingham tunic that I am dying to sew up for also for Miss Hannie.
The ribbon quilt (the top one in the picture) to make the binding and bind (which is going for a surprise for the blog).
A black and white baby quilt that is going to be a free pattern in a couple of weeks.
And……about 5 vintage patterns that are waiting to be cut up into a new spring wardrobe for my girlie.
Phew.
Your turn!ย What’s on your sewing table right now?ย And just to make this fun, I will choose a random comment (that has an email address!) a sewing machine necklace because we just got another order of them and I seriously love mine. Just leave a comment with what you are working on and you are entered!ย We will pick a winner and announce it on Monday…lots ofย luck…and a very happy productive sewing weekend to us all.
