This post is for you….well, not really, it’s really for your husband. And my husband. And liZ’s husband. See, all we have to do now is casually leave this post up on all of our computers (well, that’s my plan—he seldom reads what’s going on over here) and maybe one of these items will magically appear in my stocking 😉
Do you think it will work? (I have my fingers crossed.)
So, some of items are things that I have used over the past year…and some are items that I have on my “want” list. And the best part is that each of these gifts cost under $20—so even if the budget is a bit tight—these stocking stuffers for the sew-er definitely won’t break the bank.
**(Just so you know that the links below are affiliate links–we do get a percentage if you order through the link—but we only picked things that we thought were super well-priced and things we actually use or would endorse ;)**
The first up is a tool that I was introduced to at a sewing night (the Skirting the Issue night to be exact) and one of the sewing ladies had one of these little no-hot hemming tools. I tried here and then immediately bought one….and I LOVE IT. Really, I do love it. It has a curved side for making pockets (AWESOME) and it really doesn’t get hot so it is perfect for hemming all sorts of things. You will love it.
I am a big fan of chalk for a marking tool. And wax chalk is my favorite. But it is always disappearing….so three new pieces would be great.
I have been doing a little more embroidery this year, so some little embroidery scissors would be awesome. These are on the want list 😉
I have really over-talked the pure fantastic-ness of wonder clips…so I won’t talk about them again. But just know…you need some.
This turning cutting mat is also on my list this year. I have always wanted one to trim up quilt blocks and have heard from others about how terrific they are. I would love to try one out.
This year both liZ and I have wondered why we have never known about these little squaring-up rulers. We both have LOVED these this year.
And the last item is one that I tried out in a quilting class and really loved it for smaller projects. And it’s on sale right now! I would love one of these.
Any other things you would add to this list? Are there any great tools that you have seen that you have on your sights this year?
