Tonight, as I write this, I am knee deep in Christmas quilts.
I think I was just raised that if it’s Christmas then there are blankets and quilts to be made. And this year is no different.
This is whats up on the quilting frames right now:
It’s for my grandparents and is made from some darling fabric (that is so cheery that just looking at it makes me happy) from Micheal Miller.
Next month I have a tutorial put together that will show you how to make this super easy quilt. I don’t believe that quilts need to be complicated to be fantastic. And this just happens to be one of those quilts that is simple to make but still looks great.
If you can sew a straight line you can make this quilt…and tie it to….
That hand you can see is my husbands…yesterday I taught him how to tie a quilt and tonight he is tying this one for me while I finish up hand binding another one. (And I’m telling you if he can do it so can you!)
Now, I better get back to binding…I still have so much to do and I’m running out of time!

Woohoo! What a great helper! We’re up to our elbows in quilting too…hence the scarcity of posts on our blog.

Love that blue fabric, it is a smily fabric! Which line of Michael miller is it? I just went to fabric.com and purchased 4 other of his, but would love this happy fabric too! So cool that your hubby helps, mine will when needed as well. Merry Christmas!
