Some years I find gift giving easy….and some years I find gift giving really hard. So over the next month or so we are going to be sharing some simple gifts that people in your life would love to get. Some will be handmade but we are also trying to find things that we really do love and use. And we are trying our darndest to come up with things that are also super economical so you won’t break the Holiday budget this year!
So, today let’s start with the homemakers. I know that I really do love to receive gifts that brighten my home with pretty things….and especially things that make my home feel more like me. And I love the fact that everytime I see something in my home or use it—I remember the person that gave it to me. So I put together a roundup of some of my very favorite things for the home.
And the best part is that you can buy all of these homemaking gifts for under $25!
The first gift that I love to give (and receive) is pillows. I really love pillows, I love to change them out for the seasons and they can brighten a room with little effort. I recently ordered these sweater pillows from Wayfair and I have to say I love them! They are actually meant for the buttons to be in the back but I love to have the buttons facing out. They are great quality and have made my family room chairs look so cozy. Wouldn’t the white ones look great into the winter?
Here are some other things that I love and love giving for gifts…
If you are anything like me….you are always cold. So this throw is the perfect gift for the woman who is always cold. It is also so stylish and would look great in so many rooms! Wayfair is also giving a code to purchase pillows, poufs or throws right now….just type in WFPTP15 for 15% off any pillow, pouf, or throw!
I REALLY love these half sheet pans with lids. I really think they are one of my favorite things I have in my kitchen. I make Texas sheet cakes in them, brownies, or even cinnamon rolls for parties and other events. And the lid is fantastic….it really is. At just over $20 it makes a great gift!
If you are anything like me…..you still probably have the towel sets that you got from your wedding in your linen closet. And they probably look like mine, all stained and dingy. Wouldn’t it be a dream to get all new towels for the house? (Mine dream towels would all be white and beautiful—it’s the little things sometimes;)
Anything for the home that I forgot that you would love to receive???

Towels is a great one! We ALWAYS need towels. I suspect our children eat them.
Wooden spoons is another. I have no idea what happens to ours, but we never seem to have enough.
