My Top Ten Favorite Ways To Use Baby Wipes

I’ve had babies and/or toddlers with me now for over a decade.  And I’ve LOVED every minute (I always say that I want to freeze time.)  These little people are my world… but they also are a lot of work!
Holy smokes!  How can such small packages make such BIG messes????
It seems like every time I turn around something is sticky, dirty, or a different color than it used to be which is why I use baby wipes ALL. THE. TIME.  I really do.  They are like my-not-so-secret weapon… I have them in several rooms around the house, in my van, and in my purse.
They come in handy for so many things! I’ve put together a list of my top 10 favorite ways to use baby wipes.
#1.  To use on sticky fingers and/or faces while we are out and about.
#2.  To give to my younger ones to use to help me wipe down baseboards.
#3.  To give to my older ones to help me dust blinds.
#4.  To keep in my car to wipe up messes from off of seats, arm rests, and the carpool kids.
#5.  To have on hand to wipe off the handles of shopping carts.  (Especially during the flu season!)
#6.  To wipe down door handles around the house.
#7.  To wipe down kitchen chairs and barstools.
#8.  To wipe off baby doll hands and faces.  (We actually use them to wipe down a lot of our toys.)
#9.  To wipe down my steering wheel and dashboard in my van.
#10.  And they work as a remover for crayons, pens, pencils, and some markers from off of most surfaces (trust me… I would know… this is what I use them for most of all!).
Like I said baby wipes are super handy!
Target has a brand of baby wipes that I am loving.
The up & up brand of baby wipes are great.  They come in individual pop up packets (and refills) so that I can take them with me wherever I want.  And while they do have a scented and a sensitive skin version of their wipes my favorite is the unscented… all the clean and no scent!  I love it!
These wipes are also alcohol free so they don’t dry out my hands and are made from 100% plant-based materials that come from trees grown in sustainably managed forests, which makes them a win-win for me.
Childhood is messy… really messy… but baby wipes can help.  And they can help with more than just diaper changes :)But if you want to use them for diaper changes, Target also has a line of diapers.

    Those diapers where what I prefered with my kids! Now that we are diaper-free, we like to keep wipes in the car for all the oopies that happen while traveling (spilled slushies, road-side bathroom breaks, messy hands and faces, etc)

    We do use the Target diapers, but for wipes, the Huggies one and done are the best on the market. Honestly? I can see myself buying wipes after the baby is out of diapers!

    Yes, we are done with diapers but still use wipes. My little one loves to “help” clean up, so I just give her a wipe and let her go to town. Keeps her away from the Clorox/Lysol wipes with the harsh chemicals. Safer for her, and you know she’s not going to damage any surfaces (like our cats) with her “help.”

    We LOVE Target brand wipes and diapers!! I have 4 kiddos and we use wipes for everything. I always have a pack in the car, diaper bag and various places around the house. 🙂

    I have them in every room in the house, too. My eighteen month old likes to “help” clean up, so I like to hand her one to wipe things with. They are gentle enough for her to use.

    I use wipes on everything. My son just got out of diapers, and he still needs wipes for everything. I like them in my trailer, they make it easy to clean up the little messes the kids make.

    We mostly just use them for diaper changes on the go. I use cloth diapers and wipes and LOVE them, but I keep disposable wipes in the diaper bag (and a few in the dresser for particularly sticky poos).

    Oh, I use them for diapers a lot. Hmmm… I have been changing diapers for 14 years now. Um… yeah…

    They are also great for wiping sticky fingers!

    By far my favorite use for baby wipes is giving them to my 2 year old who loves to help clean. She is able to keep her own spot at the table wiped clean as well as all of the cabinet and refrigerator doors in the kitchen!

    My kids are 7 and 11 and I STILL use wipes everywhere!! My favorite recent discovery is for wiping deodorant marks off of your shirts once you’ve put them on! It’s an office lifesaver!!

    I ALWAYS have a pack of wipes in both of our cars and in the house even though I don’t have any babies! I use them to wipe my dog’s paws when she’s been in the mud, dirt, etc. I also use them to clean my hands when in car when needed.

    I like to use baby wipes to capture dust bunnies. Then the hair doesn’t get stuck to our broom. They are my favorite cleaner as well.

    A quick spot treatment on the carpet for small messes – spit up, bit of milk spill , mushy Cheerios. Not awesome for big jobs, but gets simple stains up pretty well!

    I love the Target brand wipes and diapers. I also use the wipes for everything. I still will be buying the wipes even after my youngest is done with diapers. I keep them everywhere. There is a pack in each bathroom, diaper bag, and living room.

    I constantly use baby wipes on the computer, table in living room, the kids’ chairs, car seats, toys, phone, remotes, and even my keys! I use them constantly!

    When we took our grand adventure road trip to Alaska, we stayed in some pretty questionable places (in the middle of nowhere). Wipes were my friends!!
    My husband said that I sanitized The Yukon!

    I use wipes in my car to wipe and keep it clean in case of a spill. It really works in keeping my car clean!

    We have wipes in the house and car and use them all the time to quickly clean something without needing water. They are great. I use them most for hands though to quickly wipe away a sticky mess whether at home or on the road. They are convenient.

    Both of my kids had very sensitive bums/ skin so we never used wipes for that end as infants– but now they are so handy for cleaning up sticky toddlers/ preschoolers!

    Oh boy well there are endless uses for them but we have babies still in diapers so that is their primary use in our house at the moment. NOT my favorite use as it means I am changing a diaper and I hate everything potty and pooy related. Soooo, probably my favorite use is cleaning off dvds that little fingers have made sticky and gunky.

    I use them for all the things you mentioned, but they are super great for cleaning my cheaper stamps when I am making cards! Takes the ink right off, and doesn’t harm my stamps. Another great use you may find as your kids grow up, baby wipes are great for having on hand during marching band season… things get spilled on uniforms, and my favorite… when a trumpet gets dropped mouthpiece down in the muddy grass! LOL ~ baby wipes to the rescue, and my two youngest are now in high school!

    My son once drew all over my microfiber couch with a sharpie. My cousin suggested wipes. I was skeptical but man they took every last bit off, it was amazing.

    I love Target’s sensitive skin wipes and diapers for my sensitive skin baby. Never a problem! Wipes are like gold! I’m going to remember to give them to him when he’s older to help clean around the house.

    I use disposable wipes when I’m out and about. When I’m at home though, I use cloth wipes. They do a much better job with big messes IMO and work out way cheaper :). I’m still using my big box of Huggies wipes that I got from Costco about 2 1/2 years ago (that baby is now 3, and my new baby is 9 months).

    I keep wipes in the glove box in the car. So many things they are handy for, but especially for fast-food mishaps. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been thankful they are there!!

    Wipes are so handy for cleaning just about everything. I especially like to use them in the bathroom to clean up around the toilet.

    I love to keep wipes in the car. Then I have them on hand wherever we go, but don’t have to lug them around. We find all kinds of uses for them. Clean dirt off hands, clean ice cream off face, ya know, kid messes!

    All of the above and anything else that seems perfect for one! I even wipe down my dogs feet with baby wipes after she goes outside if it has been raining.

    Iti sent my favorite way but my husband is in the army and when they are in the field and don’t have access to showers they use baby wipes to help stay clean.

    My favorite use is to wipe sticky faces, but I thought I’d add my daughters favorite which is to see how fast she can empty an entire package of wipes before mom notices! It is a great game! 😉
