I shared this tutorial for a Quilted Box Pouch over at The Ribbon Retreat a couple of weeks back and now I am bringing it home;) They are one of my favorite things to make at the moment…..I love me a zipper pouch and these are super fast and EASYY!!! (My favorite 😉
My letter of the day was Q…and Q stands for Quilting in my world. But it’s also back to school and one thing on all of our family’s back to school lists are pencil pouches! So, this year, Q stands for Quilted Box Pouch Tutorial for some pencil pouches that can be a bit of handmade love into the classroom 😉
Want to make one too? Here’s what you will need:
And here’s how you make it. There are tons of tutorials out there for these box pouches, but I am a big fan of hidden seams…so this one has a separate lining that will enclose all those seams.
And then once you make one…you will want to make about 10 more! They are fast and easy and would also make the perfect gifts for any person at any age–you can fill them with just about anything 😉

This is so cute! I’ve never had the patience for quilting, but now I feel really tempted to try it 🙂

Nilla,
This kind goes really fast! Which I think is why I love it 😉

I’m fairly new at sewing so I just love how well your tutorial is written! The combination of the pictures and instruction is well done and is easy to follow. Thank you!
