One of our very good blogging friends Ashley of Make it and Love it just released her first book and we are SOOO excited for her! It is called No Sew Love and it is chalk-full of projects that you can make for yourself or your home without your sewing machine.

I am working on Halloween Costumes for myself and 3 of my 5 kids. 2 are sewn and just need embelishments. 2 still need to be sewn. I have never dressed up with my kids (ages 8 to 18) so this is a big first for me. I am excited, and they are too!
Right now I’m in the planning stages of making quilts for my boys featuring some of their favorite characters. 🙂

I”m actually working on sewing Bereavement Buntings (which are small blanket like clothes that are used to dress stillborn babies). It’s a hard one to talk about, but so important too!
Working on Hexi’s for a table runner for my MIL’s Christmas gift, then working on no sew fleece blankets for Grand’s # 14 & #15 due in September and October respectively. They will need warm blankies from Nana since I cannot be close all the time. And they are not twins, one will live in Kansas and the other in New Mexico. I love me some Grand’s let me tell you what.
