Today’s guest is another blogger that we’ve known and loved for years..
Mandy from Sugar Bee
Although every time Elizabeth and I talk about her we just call her Sugar Bee…it’s such a fitting name…she’s all tiny and cute and busy busy busy ALL THE TIME!!!
Anyway, today she has a round-up of some of the skirts that she has made in the past:
So hop on over THERE and check them out. (And see what I’m talking about with the busy, busy, busy????)
And while you are hoping around….
Today we are over at Sew Caroline’s taking part in her blog hop to celebrate the launch of her “Gleeful” fabric line for Art Gallery Fabrics. We first crossed paths with Caroline more than a year ago up in Washington of all places and we just keep running into each other! So it was fun to get a package in the mail full of her new fabric. And with all the fun colors….I wanted to make myself a simple summer tote.
To make this tote all I did was follow the exact same instructions I use to make my 4 Patch Rag Tote Bags. Except for only having 2 squares across and 2 squares down I have 3 squares across and 3 squares down.
Easy Peasy.
(Oh and I add one more rectangle to each handle to make them just a tad longer as well.)
Sooooooo….. to get the full tutorial and all the details just click here: 4 Patch Rag Bag Tutorial.
And do it quickly…before you notice how freaky deaky my toes look in that picture….what the heck was going on there? Charlie Horses???? Yikes not even my toes like to have pictures of themselves taken.
