Hello Ladies!
Welcome to our Saturday Sewing at Simple Simon and Company Linky Party #2. (Hooray for week two!) As we said last week this month marks our 4th blog birthday and to celebrate we decided to throw a year long party that you are all invited to.
Seriously…what could be more fun than to invite you all over to our place once a week to talk sewing? (Nothing…unless it was meeting all together in person.)
In my excitement last week I forgot about setting some party rules. So we probably should do that now. Let’s see…please only link up sewing/quilting/handicraft projects…link to your specific blog post…link back to our party…and BE NICE!!! (We don’t like mean people…this party is to get together show off our work and to encourage and inspire one another. Which means no mean people allowed!!)
Alright! Now….Let’s get this party started!

Hi, guys – I’m so excited you’ve started a linky party! Do you by any chance have a party button we can use on our blogs to show we’re participating?
Pam @Threading My Way says
I’d love a button, too. Thanks for the party.

I linked up something I blogged this week, but sewed a couple of years ago. You can delete it if you want (and we won’t think you’re mean 😉 but we so wanted to join the fun, and get some nachos too!

Thanks, ladies! I love having a place dedicated to sewing as so many parties are so varied!

I just came back looking for the button, too!

How fun! I am linking up the tutorials I have done so far for my Vintage Easter dresses. I hope that is OK. Have a great weekend!

I was looking for a button too!

LOVE LOVE LOVE your UNIQUE idea of “Quilt Pockets!” Your simple polka dot little girl’s dress is plain . . . so the two 4-triangular quilted pockets add to the stylish look. In fact, these pockets are a clever highlight of the dress. I love the soft hues of cream and beige in a mix of prints and polka dots. THANKS for sharing this tutorial. Sarah in Minneapolis
