I got my Churndash quilt back from Melissa last week and am excited to get some binding on it today. I think I am going with some sort of green but can’t find what I want in my stash……which might mean a trip to the fabric store (who can resist that?). This guy is a big quilt…..the finished blocks are 9 1/2 if I remember right and the quilt is 6 rows across and 8 down with sashing in between. It’s going to take quite a few nights of handsewing to get the binding on…but I promise to show you when it’s all finished.
In other news in my life, most of my other sewing lately has been for the new house–some curtains for one bedroom finally got done and lots of pillows that I will show you soon (I have gone a little pillow mad)….
And lastly, yay for it being the last week of school around here. Although the calendar on my phone is going off like crazy….events and more events and more parties. I am soooooo ready for summer break to begin. Things tend to slow down a bit more and everyone is home—which is just the way I like it 😉
Have a wonderful Monday everyone! And if you haven’t entered the quilt giveaway you still have a couple more days to enter—so go here and put your name in the hat to win!
