Today for $5 Friday I just wanted to post some of our favorite party games, pajama patterns, and gift ideas that are all under $5. And they all have the link to the instructions and tutorials underneath their photos. AND there are 13 items in the list because of today being Friday the 13th and all. DUN DUN DUN….
Let’s start with parties:
The games that are the easiest to put together and never seem to fail to get everyone involved and laughing are the ones from Minute to Win It. There are a million to choose from but we’ve put together some of our favorite:
Here is the game everyone over on Facebook helped me put together. (Thanks again to everyone who kept taking my random polls.) We actually played it last week at my husbands work party and it was really fun. It’s our version of Holiday Family Feud:
And just in case you are entertaining in a more formal party setting here are some quick and easy holiday placements to use for your guests:
Christmas Placemats
Or if your party goers would prefer something a little more old school your could whip up some of these guys:
Now let’s move on to pajamas (or “lounge wear” if you’d rather…as it seems that is the cool thing to call pajamas now). We’ve got some easy tutorials to make the pants, tops, and gowns.
And last but not least here are a few last minute, inexpensive, and easy gifts to put together!
Grace wore these bow pins a million times last year:
Here are a couple ideas for neighbor gifts, including my very favorite idea (which you can get at the dollar store!).
This next gift is one that your kids can make and almost always turns out adorable:
This next tutorial is for an apron that you can make from a dishcloth. They are my favorite…I’ve made a million of them…however, the picture below is a picture of pork rinds and not of my apron. I’m just seeing if anyone is still even reading this post.
This scarf is so soft and warm…and it’s made from sweat pants.
(And no, I’m not just checking to see if you are still reading again. It really is made from a pair of sweat pants. I swear.)
And finally on the list for today is some felt bow jewelry:
So there you have it.
A little party, a little pajama, a little pork rind…and all for under $5!
Have a fantastic Friday everyone.

Is there a prize for reading through to the end? And noticing the wrong picture?

I’m bad with posts like this – I usually just look at the pictures and if I like it then read what the tutorial is about – I was SO confused when I got to the pork rinds one!
Thanks for making me laugh!
