This is one of my favorite outfits from Gracie’s spring look book.
The shorts are some hand-me-down pants that we were given but that weren’t long enough. So I wacked them off and she’s wearing them as shorts.
And the shirt…oh, I love this shirt.
It’s a $3.88 Garamimals T-shirt that I added mini pom pom trim to.
To make a shirt like Grace’s you just need your shirt, the trim, some Liquid Stitch, and your sewing machine.
Now here comes the tutorial.
(Pay attention…it’s a complicated one.)
#1. Lay your shirt flat.
#2. Using Liquid Stitch glue your trim onto the shirt.
#3. Let it dry.
#4..Sew over the top of the trim to hold it permanently.
#5. You are done.
(Hope you took notes…that was intense!)
Ok…so…you probably didn’t need the “tutorial” for making this shirt…but I wanted to tell you how I made it because I really do like it…a lot. And she’s already worn it…a lot. And it washes like a champ. I actually just bought another one of these T-shirts in white that I’m going to add colored mini pom poms to. I think I’m going to like that one to….maybe even a little more than this one!
Alrighty so that’s that.
Have a good weekend everyone!
