And I was excited.
And I was not so excited.
And….I kind of freaked out—the weather had just gotten cold and stormy we had two kids now with no place to play (all the furniture was stacked in their rooms), a newborn, and a wedding shower planned at our house in two weeks.
AGHHHHHHH!!!!
It was CRAZY!!!!
But the flooring got finished.
(And I love it.)
And the cabinets were all refinished white with new black pulls.
(Something else that I love.)
But by the time we made it to that point we were starting the holiday season and the make-over came to an end. Boo.
However it’s spring and we are both itching to get started on some home improvement projects.
Really—we just planned out a make-over for our bedroom that I am over the moon about.)
But I would like to go back and finish up the kitchen exactly how I want it—and I know just what I’d do:
First on my list would be a new sink…I have a really small, shallow sink with an icky faucet.
Next: I would put up a tile back splash.
Then: I would install some new blinds and a window treatment.
And finally: I would pick a new paint color for the walls.
(However, if you asked my husband he’d only choose one thing—the counter tops.)
How about you? What would you make-over in your kitchen?
(And be careful what you say…or rather WHEN you say it…or you may come home to a home under construction to! 🙂

PS—Check out the video below from Home Depot…I think my husband has watched it like 12 times now and wants me to keep watching it to 🙂 He has home improvements on his mind something fierce! And he has an undying love for Home Depot….
(Which reminds me…that slide he installed in the basement…again…while I was out…I’ll be posting about that soon. It’s become the hit of the century around here.)
