……..She wore a Raspberry beret sorbet…..(now you are going to be singing that song all day too.) Good ole’ 80’s Prince.
Because I always have to include a vintage pattern into my look-books, this dress is the vintage-goodness for this Spring. It is made from this pattern and was not changed a bit (so unlike me at times).
I fell in love with the asymmetrical bodice the minute I saw the pattern and have been saving it until it would fit. I can see a lot more of these dresses in the future….they are so cute on. And a version without the collar I think will be just as darling. See I am already thinking of another version….and maybe even one with more asymmetric lines. Wouldn’t that be cute?
One story for the day. I have been waiting to photograph all the looks for about a week now and unfortunately our weather has just NOT been cooperating.
So last night right when there was a break in the clouds I made Hannie drive around with me to snap a couple of pictures to show you. And then rains came pouring down……
So we got a total of 4 pictures and I had to make them work.
Hopefully we get some good weather today….we still have 4 outfits to photograph!!!!
Happy Tuesday everyone!!!
Do you have Spring weather where you are? {If you do, please, please, please send some our way!}
The dress is darling! Love the assymetrical bodice and the color is divine. Great job!
adorable! And yes, our weather is *finally* starting to get a bit better. (fingers crossed)
I love this….I want one too – anything asymetrical catches my eye! You also have a beautiful young model!
So darling! Love the pattern and the color is so fun and springy! =)
It is soooo sweet! I love the asymmetrical bodice and the covered buttons on it. There are some really great vintage patterns out there. I need to start using them more because they have so much skill and detail than the newer patterns do. Great job as usual.
Oh so gorgeous! I want one in my size. 🙂 Hope the weather decides to cooperate. 🙂
I ‘think’ spring might finally be here, but it has still be pretty rain which is making it harder than I would like to photograph all the awesome patterns I have been testing and baby girl’s first birthday dress ;op
I love the color of this and the lines – soooo sooooo sweet!
OMG, I love that dress!!!
That dress is beautiful! You did a fabulous job and your daughter looks so sweet in it!
I love it! I want to be nosy and ask what kind of fabric you used (it’s beautiful!) and if there’s any underskirts involved to get that much fullness…it hangs just right!
So pretty!! I love everything about it, the style and the color.
This is such a great dress, I am dying over that color!!!
There is a pettislip under it. The fabric is a twill, thoug, so it does hold the fullness of the gathers pretty well.

ridiculously adorable, as usual. can’t wait to the see the rest of the lookbook.
I love this dress so much! Vintage forever. 🙂
I love this dress! The narrow belt, the perfect collar, the full skirt, the covered buttons, and that bodice! Wonderful!
