The dress is simple front-button shirt dress with a piped peter pan collar, a piped belt and some vintage buttons that I recently scored. I love piping, it is such a simple but fun detail to add to any project and makes it look like you spent a lot more time than you did.
There is a previous collar tutorial HERE if you want to learn to add piping to your next project. And trust me, once you start with piping—-you will be piping EVERY. THING. (Sorry about that….)
I loved making this little dress. It was such a fun project to think about the CLUE characters….and you just might be seeing more inspiration from the character cards soon. Wouldn’t a Miss Scarlett outfit be so fun?
I need to know…..who was your favorite clue character?
It’s so cute! It would even make a cute adult dress!

Oh my gosh, once again, I am just in love with your costume ideas!
Ha, would you believe that I tried to be obsessed with the game (and the movie) but my mother refused to let me have anything to do with Clue!
Oh, that dress is so adorable! I love love love it. Nice work! 🙂
Mrs. Peacock was my favorite.
