I found this little treasure at a yard sale a couple of weeks ago. It was sitting in an old, ratted cardboard box and I think I was lucky because not many people would have known what was inside because the box was so bad.
(Good thing I am a scavenger….)
And then when I asked the lady how much she wanted for it, she replied, two bucks.
Sold, and sold.
The cord was wrapped around the base of the machine and is basically falling apart now, but I still think it will look good on my bookshelf, even if it will be cordless.
I do wish it had a big reel with it….but maybe I will come across one someday?
For now, I will just be super happy about my two dollar find.
ANy super deals lately?

wow, i love it! i just purchased a projector…not for 2 bucks though. and yours is way cuter! i did score some super tacky pineapple print fabric this morning for 2 bucks for 4 yards. it is so ugly, but it will be perfect to make two little dresses for the girls. we are headed to a luau party this weekend and thought it would be perfect…and for 2 bucks it was hard to say no. funny thing is the owner at the shop was trying to give it away to me…for good reason though:)

Picked up a Bernina 830 Recorder at a yard sale last week: $50. Only has one foot and is missing the knee lift but runs like a dream. Now I am on the hunt for some more feet. Gotta love yard sales.

I got some really cool cloth-covered wire that I have yet to do anything with from Sundial wire. You could easily rewire it with some of that. It does look cool just like that though.
Here’s the link http://www.sundialwire.com/

Very cool. We have a whole collection of vintage garage sale cameras (including an old Super 8) on display on our window sills. And since no single camera was more than five dollars we never freak out when our kids or their friends pick them up to play with them.
