My son is a huge fan of apples. We cut them and rubber band them back together so they don’t turn brown. Simple, easy, healthy.

Speaking about old-school snacks, I fed my kids celery with peanut butter and raisins the other day, and they loved them! They can be picky eaters, so I was super excited about that.
Rachel says
We snack on fresh fruit and nuts quite a bit. For treats we also will buy the individual fruit drinks for the kiddos.

My kids love to snack on fresh veggies. The unhealthy part of it is the ranch they dip it in. But I am ok with that. at least they are eating veggies, right? jgustafson96(at)yahoo(dot)com

My girlies are huge fruit fans and it would be great to get more veggies in them.

My kids love fruit, and sometimes even veggies. One snack they always love though, is popcorn. They love to watch it pop in the air popper, and they don’t mind eating it totally plain.

I make muffins with bran, fruit, nuts, etc and keep them in the freezer. They reheat in 15-20 seconds in the microwave, or thaw in a bag during the morning at work for a healthy snack on the go.
Falafel and the Bee says
I like to whip up cauliflower fritters (gluten-free). It is just cauliflower, egg, and some GF flour. I fry it in olive oil and sprinkle lightly with salt.
The kids LOVE these, and never suspect that there is cauliflower in it:)

We like yogurt with some blackberries or homemade granola!

This snack might not be for everyone, but our family eats generally “Paleo” so it fits in with our particular approach – bacon! I cook some up in the morning, and then put it in a baggie for my daughter to take to camp/school. We happen to use uncured, unspiced, untreated-in-any-way bacon from a local farm that has pastured pigs, and then we just salt it ourselves to our own taste.
caitlindye says
Fruit is my kid’s favorite! We love grapes, strawbebbies (as my two year old calls them) and pears!

Grapes are a favorite around here. We also freeze those squeeze yogurts (we like the tubes from Trader Joe’s b/c they don’t hav e artificial colors or flavors) and eat them instead of popsicles
Alicia @ The Creative Vault says
We love roasted chickpeas and fat free microwave potato chips. The ultimate guilt free snack. I like them because I LOVE anything that’s salty! I have recipes for both on my blog (sorry my iPod isn’t letting me add the link).
Brandon says

my kids are anti-eat anything that looks remotely healthy type of kids. and i’m a diet coke junkie. they always ask to try it and are not allowed to drink it. so i started to whip up fruit medleys (strawberries/raspberries/blackberries) with yogurt in my blender and feed it to the kiddo’s calling it a pink soda. they think they’re having something adults drink but really it’s a healthy snack filled with fruits and protein! we all win.
sy says
We always have fruits and melons cut up for snacking. We also drink juice with sparkling water instead of soda. Thanks for the review and giveaway.

“Spinach smoothies” win at our house — the kids ask for them by that name. Mostly fruit – a mix of frozen and fresh – and then spinach. Sometimes I add chia seeds. That’s it, but they love them.

Cutting fruits and veggies into bites, paired with cheese cubes, crackers and dip like peanut butter makes for quick snacking. Fancy party toothpicks make it extra fun to munch! Some of their favorites are apples, cucumbers, colorful peppers, baby carrots, and any kind of berries or cherries.
