Last spring I made Grace a lot of these skirts but I never posted anything about them.
They are made out of scarfs from the thrift store…which makes them about $1.50 each.
Grace wore this one today (I can’t believe it still fits!) along with a sailor shirt that I picked up at the thrift store for $2.00. Add that to the $3.50 I spent on her Wal-Mart leggings and that brings her outfit to a grand total of $7.00. (And that is a price I can afford!)
I need to go and look for some more of these scarves.
I can’t believe it was a year ago that I was making these…time goes by so quickly.
I swear every time I turn around another month has passed. Like March…where the heck has this month gone? I wish I could just freeze time.
My kids are growing up way to fast.

I absolutely adore your scarf skirt, and the whole sailor look! And I enjoy all you share on your blog.
Do you have a pattern for the scarf skirt, or can you tell me where to find one? I would appreciate it!
Thanks for all you share!

I totally agree about freezing time, my kids are so much fun right now, and the months fly by so fast. That is such a cute outfit and what a bargain.
