It’s after 1 in the morning and I’m taking a break from my painting to write my post for the day.
(And to eat some cookies while watching an episode of Oddities. Does anyone else watch that show or am I the only creepy person out there? Wait, don’t answer that question.)
I love Christmas and I love painting but whatever isn’t finished by 5:00 tomorrow just isn’t going to get done. That is my cut off and from then on it’s baking and wrapping and playing with the kids and NO MORE CRAFTING OR SEWING (for at least 3 days).
Which reminds me—Elizabeth and I have made a pact to rest and enjoy this holiday weekend and the week to come. Sure, we will be checking in sometime next week but plan to spend most of these next few days happily MIA. However, starting January 2nd we will be back to our regular schedule with some fun new patterns, tutorials, and ideas.
Happy Holidays.
Enjoy your weekend.

*stage whisper* I like Oddities, too, just for the weird stuff they come up with…

Girls I love that you set a deadline for the projecting, it inspires me to do the same. Crating, painting and sewing are like a drug and we’re addicted so it’s very, very hard to just stop and enjoy life but it’s Christmas so I’ll be there right with you. Let’s all take a tiny break!
