Evening was upon us and there I was sitting on the floor working on a project that can’t be shown (because it is for someone who I know checks in on me here at the blog) and listening to Simon read when I realized:
I DIDN’T TAKE ANY PHOTOS FOR THIS POST!!!!
So I grabbed the pile of unfinished scarves and headed for the front yard where the sun was setting and I used the last moments of light to snap this photo. And what a photo it is….half a dozen unfinished scarves hanging out in my frozen onion patch. (Yes, I grow onions in my front yard…in my flower beds…with jalapenos…and other stuff….just be thankful I’m not your neighbor.)
Um, what was I saying?
Oh, the scarves. I have 7 of these lovelies to make and only 1 of them even started!
Here’s the plan—I bought the scarves at the Dollar Store (of course, where do I buy everything?) and then am embellishing them with some felt shapes that I am sewing on by hand with embroidery floss.
It’s an easy project I just need some time to get them finished.
Time, now that is something I could use some more of.
I honestly don’t have ONE SINGLE gift finished yet. Which is why I’m off to go keep painting while my kids are in bed dreaming. Please let me work quickly!
