I did get a bit of sewing into this long holiday break. Speaking of which, did you have a wonderful holiday? Ours was so relaxing and nice, I am going to miss having the whole family home and together. I really love having everyone home….it’s the homebody in me. {Except when the quarreling starts….ha…but thankfully there wasn’t too much.} We got some lights put up outside, the Christmas trees put up {we decided on the presents tree up in the loft–I am hoping it will be safer up there} and thankfully it hasn’t been climbed yet….but we still have a month to go, and most of the Christmas stuff up. A good weekend.
Back to the sewing…..
I have had this jumper cut out for awhile now intending it to be a “Back to School” jumper. But, then I was in the throws of sewing for Project Run and Play and it didn’t happen. Luckily, it’s a red twill …and just as perfect for a Christmas jumper. I did add some velvet buttons to the front and sides to make it a bit more Christmassy (is that a word?)….and I like it. Unfortunately, no girlie home so no picture of the jumper on yet….but I will show you Wednesday.
Have a great Monday! I have a big “to do” list going today. I had better get going!
