Back to Our Regularly Scheduled Programing

As I am writing this Elizabeth and I are waiting for this weeks results over at Project Run and Play. What a fun time we’ve had over these past few weeks! We’ve loved each of the challenges and seeing what the other contests have made. It has been so great to see the variety of ideas and perspectives taken for each of the 6 themes.

Unfortunately, like all good things Project Run and Play has come to an end. This was the last week of the competition, today the winner will be posted, and then it’s all over. All over? How sad. (Really, I’ll miss it.)
So what does this mean? Well folks, it means we are now officially back to our regularly scheduled programming. And since it’s been awhile I’ll remind you (and me for that matter) what our regularly scheduled programming is.

Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday:

We post projects, thoughts, and tutorials. Like Elizabeth’s tutorial for making this skirt.


Thursdays:

We call every Thursday “Thrifted Thursdays” because on these days we post either great thrifted finds or projects you can make from thrifted items. Like this dress which I bought for just a few dollars and Grace wore for Cinco de Mayo.

Friday:
Fridays are actually my favorite. We call them $5 Fridays. Every Friday we post a project that you can make yourself for $5 or less. Below is a project we posted last year for $5 Friday that uses white garbage bags to make friendly yard ghosts.

Saturday:

Saturday’s are our “Art of Homemaking” posts where we share anything from advice from our collection of 1950’s homemaking articles to our current child rearing endeavours.

It’s as much as we can pack into a week. And we kind of love it. So even though our vacation is over we still have something that we thoroughly enjoy to come home to.

Thank you everyone for sticking around, for your comments and your emails and for just stopping by. It wouldn’t be the same without you and we really do appreciate all your support.

    Congrats to both of you! PR&P is always so fun to follow and I was blown away each week. I’l miss it too, but your regularly scheduled programming is always great. 🙂 🙂
