The Boys: We’ve heard this one before…
And that’s how our photo shoot started. With our two oldest boys, who are sassy, and silly, and who didn’t plan on having any fun with their mothers out taking pictures of them.
But then out came a blow up bed in a field…and the newspapers…and the laughing. And our skeptical boys did what they do best—played.
I planned on writing some funny stories from that evening—Aaron running around holding the bottom of his pants up and Simon loosing a tooth and the accidental newspaper mustaches and, well there are many stories—but when I think about that night I just think about the fun we had with our boys.
I love my little boy in his jammies and the time is swiftly coming when he will be too old… too old for paper airplane jammies, and newspaper spyglasses, and telling bedtime stories with his mom.
So often I wish I could freeze time. But since I can’t I need to enjoy the magic for as long as it lasts. Thank goodness for our boys and those memorible moments we share with them (which so often happens with them sporting pajamas and serious cases of bedhead). I wouldn’t trade this time in my life for anything in the world.
And don’t forget to VOTE for your favorite look this week.
