I made these little fabric filled frames awhile back from a fat quarter of Amy Butler fabric I had been hoarding. I really love this print and wanted to use it in a way that I could enjoy it for a long time. So I spray painted some dollar store frames and filled them with pieces of the fabric, a little bit of doilie and some wooden birds.
And soon they will be hanging down here in the basement family room where they will match all the crazy colored furniture and help to liven up the boring walls.
I really like the set.
(I only wish I had enough fabric left to make one more really large one.)
****PS—We’re home. Everyone is healthy and happy. And I’m super excited about these next few weeks…settling into new family routines, spending time with Ruth, working on new projects, and enjoying my unpregnant body. Honestly, I am in heaven.
