This is one of the maternity skirts I made for myself when I got too big for everything I owned (and that includes previous maternity clothes). I made several of these hunnies. All were made from extra large T-shirts I bought at Dollar Tree (our local dollar store).
They were super simple to make. First I laid out the shirt, wacked the top off (just under the armpits) and I already had the skirt more that half way finished! (T-shirt skirts are the easiest to make because the sides and bottom are finished before you even start!) Next I added some decorations onto the sides by sewing on scrap fabric cut into shapes. And finally I attached an elastic waistband.
Done and done. And they only cost a dollar.
And don’t worry—I won’t be post any more pregnant photos of myself…the baby will be here within the month. (Then be prepared for the bombardment of baby photos that are to follow.)

Cute picture! Why are you so worried? You look great! Fantastic job on the skirt. I’ll bet it’s all sorts of comfy. You are very talented.

Liz. You are SO not one to talk about not looking good while pregnant. I should send you a picture of me when I was getting close to delivery. YIKES. When I say that every single part of my body was swollen to maximum capacity, I really mean it. You look fantastic, and that skirt is so fun! I want to head to the dollar store and make one for my non-pregnant self!

You do look super cute! You;ve still got the cute basketball belly. At the end of my pregnancies my belly stuck out so far that I could balance dinner plates on it lol!

Oh, you. You are looking fabulous. I tell you what, with Olivia, when I hit three months pregnant I was asked, “Oh, seven months?” …sob. It was all tum, but I carry outwards and outwards only. Anyways, I still looked fab and so do you!
