Because WE. LOVE. OUR. FOLLOWERS. (Really)
We are doing a giveaway for YOU!!! Yippeeee!
Liz painted one of the muslin dolls we blogged about HERE and I whipped up a pillowcase dress for her and a matching peasant dress for your girlie too!!! The peasant dress is a girls’ size 3-5 as a dress, (although maybe I should say 6 because Hannie still wears this size as a dress and it is just above her knees), or even up to a 6-8 with leggings as a tunic.
(And I adore this fabric….I had a hard time parting with it. But I did, because I love you all that much.)
It’s our way of saying thanks for coming here everyday. We really appreciate it.
So, followers, enter away. (And if you are not a follower yet, come aboard…and then comment away to enter as well!!)
Just leave us a comment telling us what you want to see more of around here and you are in! You have until Friday night (7/29) to enter….we will post the winner on Saturday morning. Easy. Peasy.
Thanks again.

Is it selfish of me to enter this giveaway even though I don’t have a girl? But I do have an adorable niece who loves dresses and dolls, so she counts, right? And what I want to see more of . . . I think my favorite are your sewing tutorials–and also your $5 projects. It’s great to see some ideas that won’t cost an arm and a leg to make 🙂 LOVE the dress and doll–so cute!
That is SO cute! My girl wears a 6, and I bet that would look perfect on her.
I love tutorials. 🙂
I follow your blog in google reader…
I love the tutorials!! I am kind of a “Jill of all trades, master of none” kind of gal. I tend to dip my toes into lots of different crafts and having good, easy to follow tutorials (like yours) helps me a lot 🙂
I love the tutes and would love to see them keep comin’!
The fabric is so cute! I love the sewing tutorials, I’m just a beginning sewer, so I need all the help I can get!

I follow your blog..daily (and now via email)! I found ya’ll because of the starboard skirt. I made it in an hour while my daughter napped, wore it to work, and was told it looked store bought! It was the 1st item of clothing I ever made for myself. 🙂 I love the sewing tutorials. Keep up the amazing work!!

i love seeing the cute little things i can make for my own daughter.
I love the tutorials, keep it up! I also love to see what you do with vintage patterns.
As someone who can’t really sew, I love (and need!) your tutorials as much as anyone, but I love the other stuff you have going on just as much–the $5 projects and fun party embellishments, etc. It was actually the $5 Fridays that got me hooked on your blog…that and the specimen art. So I guess just more variety? But the sewing tutorials are FABULOUS, and that dress is TOO CUTE. I didn’t think I’d ever hop on this chevron bandwagon that everyone’s on, but that fabric may just convert me after all. 🙂
Your posts inspire me and I have started experimenting with sewing for my 15 month old daughter. I could really use some guidance when it comes to snaps! So far, all her outfits have elastic or ties, which probably won’t work come October 🙂
I love your $5 Fridays… simple, affordable things like that is what I’d like to see more of! I love the fabric of the dress and matching doll! My littler girl would be in love!!
Ahhhh, Pop Garden…. One of my all-time most favoritest fabric lines. Anyway, I like the sewing tutorials the best. But anything crafty/entertaining for the kids is great!
