In honor of Father’s Day this week…and because there is always an unequal amount of girl projects that are going on around here, Liz and I decided to spend a few days (we’ll see how many) next week focusing on our boys. Mostly because they all need new shorts, and a little bit of extra attention in the sewing, crafting department.
So, here we go.
And we need a cleverer name. Any suggestions?
BTW, we got hacked this week. (That’s probaly not the right term…) But some complete idiot decided to steal our RSS feed and add a lot of posts to a fake blog that has about 100 ads on it that are all in different languages. I found it becuase it was getting a lot of hits from our blog, mostly through google searches. Crappy….and scary. And enough to make me dang mad. I reported it to Blogger, but there is no contact info on the fake blog (of course) to email anyone with the “threats of Mother Bear” to remove the content.
So, if any of you are reading this on any other blog than Simple Simon & Co. please know that it is STOLEN. And that two (one being very pregnant) Mother Bears are coming after you.
I kind of thought that this only happened to “the big guys.”
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr…..

Shannon @ luvinthemommyhood.com had this EXACT same thing JUST happen to her! Give her a holler maybe and ask what steps she all took to have it removed. That stinks! ):

this seems to be happening a lot lately. I am confused as to how you found out though…was there a lot of traffic in your blogger stats from one particular site and you check it out?

That stinks on the hacking. I hope it’s taken care of quickly. I was going to suggest contacting Shannon from Luv in the Mommyhood too.

Jessica,
I did find it through the stats. Something looked pishy….and how stupid of the person leave in the links (in the posts) which led straight back to our blog.

That stinks you got hacked … how did you find out?
I love your blog … I’m your newest {non-stealing} follower.
