First of all, we are over at She Wears Flowers today. We love her blog! I have been reading it for some time now, and she has the best projects. Her felt cakes were some of the first things that I ever saw from her and they had me hooked. Check us out over there…for some FABRIC SCRAP BRACELETS. (Because we really do have more scraps than any human should have. Literally.)
So, go there. NOW. And then come back…there is a boy’s project today too.
And here is the post for our boys’ week……
Isaac is the recipient of my sewing today. I love cargo shorts….can you tell? These were made with more of a vintage coloring…and some cute vintage buttons at the bottom.
The pattern for these came from this book that I really love. It has cute basic designs for both boys and girls. The patterns (full sized) are also easy to follow and look great on. It really is a good children’s pattern book. I got mine at Hobby Lobby last summer….but I think that it is still available.
Here is a picture of the boy’s cargos I did…..more pairs are in progress. I really loved the way they turned out.
Any fun projects that you are working on this week?

Ok…I totally forgot about the scrap bracelets. I love them..a lot…and want to make me one.
( I wish I could take my hot glue gun with me in the car and I’d make some on the way to Mack’s Inn this weekend.)

I have that book as well but I’ve only made one thing from it … I’ll have to try the shorts. Yours turned out so cute!

I LOVE that book! I made two dresses like the one on the front cover (I made mine a little different, but basically followed the pattern). I’ll have to try those shorts! They look fab!
