Way back in February I was out thrift store hopping with Elizabeth when I ran across an entire set of these dishes! I couldn’t believe my luck. Not only are they beautiful, and it was a complete set, but my mom collects them. I snatched them up at once.
And yesterday I gave them to my mom for Mother’s Day (minus the cupcakes which were devoured soon after this photos was taken by a couple of little girls I know…..)
I love my mom. I love her mom. And I love her mom’s mom whom I’m named after and who also treasured a set of delicate pink dishes.
And more than anything, I love being a mom myself. Especially this morning where I know in a few short hours I’ll be treated to my very own pink plated (albeit plastic plated) tea party from my very own little Grace. How could I love anything more?
Happy Mother’s Day.
PS—Speaking of what I love reminds me…check in with us later this week…we have another give away up our sleeve for all of you that leave us nice comments, send us nice emails, or follow us…to say thank you for making us feel loved.

What a find, I just love it when that kind of thing happens. Those cakes (did) look good, I am sure they where just as tasty.
