So, one Easter outfit has been ready for awhile….it’s just Hannah’s dress that is giving me grief (dress #2 actually). Hopefully I can finish it up this morning and show you tonight…(if the weather is good enough for some pictures. I have this idea for a photo shoot…..and I need good weather.)
I made Isaac’s pants using Oliver + S’s Sailboat Pants Pattern (this pattern was a total splurge for me)…..but I love, love, love the way they came out. I used a heavier-weight twill fabric in a tan color. I did end up adding a little bit on the length, because I wanted them pants and I have a long-legged 8 month-old but other than that, the pattern worked perfectly. And I love the vintage buttons on the front.
My older son and my husband are getting new ties….unfortunately they are not handmade. Oh well, there’s always next year. And that gives me a year to practice my tie-making abilities because I did find this really cool hugely-fat-tie 70’s pattern at DI–but I am not sure my husband will appreciate as much as I do.
Until later… I finally decided to use for Hannah’s dress….now, if it only comes out as cute. Cross your fingers for me.

I love Isaac’s pants and I still really want to try to make a pair to fit Grace—like in navy blue or yellow.

I love the little trousers. I hope you are able to take some time out to feed and water yourself properly (lol) it sounds like your machine will be smokin! xxx
