Liz is usually the jumper girl….but this time it’s my turn. I used THIS Simplicity pattern from the 99 cent sale last fall. I still need to rework the bodice, it turned out super huge under the armpits. See? And this time I lined the bodice…..so it will be an unpicking session to fix it. So, it’s back on the sewing pile. But I did at least get a picture to post for today before the thunderstorm hit. That’s a bit of good news.
I love this fabric. It is polished cotton that was on SALE for 15 dollars a yard at Joann’s. A bit over my normal budget, but I fell in love with it. I have a yard or so left…and I want to make a skirt for myself. It is just so springy and fun to me.
What projects are you working on this week?
On my list: rework this dress, a 70’s tunic for the little missy, a skirt for me, and maybe get one more thing cut out and ready to sew. That is sounding like a lot, maybe it’s more of a wish list.
