Grace is fickle. She loves her accessories but only certain ones at certain times and since I’m not sure what her mood will be on St. Patrick’s Day I made this accessory a 2-for-1 deal.
It’s a headband or wrist cuff made from felt, grosgrain, and hot glue.
Here’s what you’ll need:
1 felt circle (for the base) with grosgrain ribbon attached to each side.
4 medium sized hearts
4 small hearts
1 fat heart
1 button or bobble to finish it off
#1. Sew a length of grosgrain ribbon to each side of your circle. (If you are using this for a headband make sure the ribbon is long enough to tie around your little leprechaun’s head.)
#2. Using your hot glue gun attach the 4 medium hearts to your circle base. (The tips of the circle will overlap.)
#3. Next, glue the small hearts on top of the medium hearts. (Again the tip of the hearts will over lap…they will start poking up a bit…don’t fret…you want it like this.)
#4. Glue your fat heart directly on top of where the tips of your hearts overlap. This will let it pop up and look more three dimensional.
#5. Glue your button, bobble or flower, on the top.
#6. Enjoy.
