Today I may have committed a homemaking sin…a big one. Although it may not be a homemaking sin. It may be just a sin against domesticity. Which technically is probably the same thing…
I don’t know…ANYWAY the sin of which I speak is this: Today I gave away a bunch of cookbooks…and I mean A BUNCH OF COOKBOOKS.
You see this afternoon I was working back in Chapter 4 of Ms. Hoole’s book with “A Place for Everything” and I decided to “streamline” a certain room. So I did. So I got rid of the cookbooks I never use or are just plain unappealing to me. And the pile was large. And now it’s gone. So long so and so’s neighborhood recipe collection. Goodbye random Pampered Chef pamphlets. Hello organized shelf full of cookbooks that I actually use.
If throwing away perfectly good cookbooks is a sin then I am now officially on my way to Hell’s kitchen.
I hope they have hors d’oeuvres….and soda.

Good job!!
Maybe I’m going to do that in this year.
Happy New Year.
